Reimagining a Grade II Listed Gatehouse on Haselmere’s Lythe Hill Park Estate, balancing historic lineage and simple country living with a contemporary approach, we worked proactively with the Planning Heritage Team and positive, open minded clients to sensitively extend and retain the original character of the Gatehouse.
This beautiful family home was transformed into a four-level, comfortable space, full of life and connection.
Tired interiors were revitalised to create bright and inviting spaces with character.
Awkward room layouts and multiple staircases were reimagined to provide a comfortable, spacious and inviting home.

The basement was converted into a laundry, family snug, home office and shower room, while the bedrooms were reconfigured and enlarged, and new bathrooms added.
At the heart of this transformation lies a bespoke, stunning kitchen and dining area connected to outdoor areas perfect for entertaining - the entire home is designed to be family-friendly and a great place to live and work.
With a full architectural redesign, planning, interior refurbishment, new basement, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms, The Gatehouse is now a beautiful sanctuary of comfort and style.
